Job Description

The Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager will play a pivotal role in the sales process by offering financing options, securing approvals, and presenting additional products and services to enhance the ownership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive financing, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work in a high-performance, luxury environment. Key Responsibilities: Finance & Insurance Operations:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless transitions for customers from vehicle selection to the financing process.
  • Present financing options, extended warranties, protection plans, and other F&I products to customers in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Secure financing approvals through established lender relationships, ensuring competitive terms and compliance with all lending requirements.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for vehicle financing, leasing, and insurance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and dealership standards.
  • Calculate financing terms, including taxes, interest rates, and fees.
  • Build strong relationships with lending institutions, insurance providers, and other partners to secure favorable terms and maintain positive partnerships.
Customer Experience:
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by clearly explaining financial products and processes, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain trust with customers, ensuring transparency and professionalism throughout the F&I process.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers regarding financing, warranties, and insurance inquiries.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure all F&I product offerings and financial transactions comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to Truth in Lending (TILA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all deals, finance contracts, and aftermarket product agreements, ensuring full audit readiness.
  • Conduct regular internal reviews of F&I processes to identify and correct non-compliant practices or documentation errors.
  • Generate and submit timely reports to dealership leadership and manufacturer partners regarding F&I performance, product penetration, and regulatory compliance metrics.
  • Oversee the secure handling and storage of customer credit information and financial documentation, adhering to data privacy protocols.
  • Coordinate with external auditors or regulatory agencies during inspections or compliance reviews, ensuring full cooperation and transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of luxury automotive sales as an F&I Manager.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, and insurance products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with high-net-worth clientele.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the luxury automotive market.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and dealership management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Visual and auditory ability to use computer systems and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Working Conditions:
  • Primary work will be conducted in a luxury showroom environment with some time spent at off-site events and networking engagements.
  • Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands and attend events.
  • Travel may be required for industry events, training, and meetings.
