Job Description

The Staff Pad is partnering with Blue Ridge Medical Center, located in Blue Ridge, GA to hire an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) who is passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives every day. What You’ll Do

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging while ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across multiple specialties (vascular, cardiac, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological & small parts imaging)
  • Assist with specialized procedures, including biopsies
  • Maintain imaging equipment and a clean, safe, sterile environment
  • Verify patient information and explain procedures to create a comfortable experience
  • Document studies and complete records accurately
  • Transport patients safely as needed
  • Support training and onboarding of new staff

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program or equivalent expertise
  • ARDMS/CCI certification or registry-eligible (certification required withing 1 year of hire)
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • 1+ year of hospital-based experience preferred
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and patient-focused
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, and position patients safely
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform occasional bending and walking
