Trusts & Estates Attorney
An established law firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its growing practice. This attorney will work directly with clients and their advisors on a variety of estate and trust administration matters, with exposure to federal estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and fiduciary income tax issues.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in trust and estate administration matters with direct client interaction and collaboration with outside advisors
- Advise on federal estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer, and fiduciary income tax matters
- Draft court pleadings, proposed orders, notices, and other estate and trust administration documents
- Prepare and file pleadings and motions with the appropriate courts
- Review real estate records, financial documentation, and tax returns to assess estate assets
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of trust and estate administration
- Prior experience in estate planning, real estate, corporate, or nonprofit matters is helpful but not required
- Licensed to practice in the state of Indiana
