TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated RN – Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) for travel assignments . This role involves providing direct patient care to individuals with a wide range of medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment . The ideal candidate has strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and adaptability to handle various patient cases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient progress .
  • Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative recovery .
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams .
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-hospital care .
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions and medical emergencies .
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments .

Qualifications

  • Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a Medical-Surgical unit .
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in medication administration, patient assessment, and critical thinking .
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle physically demanding tasks .
  • Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
