Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Finance Associate to support financial operations and analysis within a private debt environment. This role will focus on portfolio reporting, investment tracking, and financial analysis to support lending activities and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting and performance analysis for private debt portfolios
• Build and maintain financial models related to loan structures, cash flow forecasting, and investment returns
• Monitor portfolio performance, including interest income, covenant compliance, and risk metrics
• Assist with deal execution activities, including financial due diligence and underwriting support
• Prepare internal and external reporting packages for senior management and investors
• Partner with investment, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate data and reporting
• Analyze borrower financial statements and track key credit metrics
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
• Assist with audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in finance, private credit, banking, or asset management
• Experience with debt instruments, credit analysis, or leveraged finance preferred
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial systems or data tools is a plus
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting concepts
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
