Are you a Spanish speaker ready to use your bilingual skills in a meaningful, in-person role?

We are currently seeking Spanish In-Person Interpreters to join our growing freelance team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our clients and the communities they serve, ensuring clear and accurate communication during face-to-face interactions.

What You’ll Do

As a freelance interpreter, you will support Medical, Legal, and Government clients on an as-needed basis. This role offers the flexibility to:

• Accept or decline assignments based on your availability
• Set your own rates and terms
• Work with other agencies while partnering with Ad Astra

Qualifications

• Academic-level fluency in English and Spanish
• Associate degree (or equivalent) from a U.S. institution
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Willingness to provide required immunization records, including:
• COVID-19
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• Varicella (Chickenpox)
• Hepatitis B
• TB Screening
• TDAP
• Annual Flu Vaccine

No prior interpreting experience? No problem. We’ll guide you through the process and provide the training needed to get started.
