Job Title: Senior Salesforce Business Analyst (BA)

Location: Toronto (Hybrid 3 days/week in office)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to lead business analysis initiatives for enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations within the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience with Salesforce (especially Financial Services Cloud), along with exposure to AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, current (as-is) processes, future state needs, and pain points
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering/refinement sessions with Product Owners, Architects, and Tech Leads
• Analyze business problems and propose optimal Salesforce out-of-the-box solutions , identifying gaps and recommending custom solutions where required
• Present solution approaches to the Salesforce Design Authority and drive alignment across business and technology teams
• Perform POCs (Proof of Concepts) and impact analysis on existing Salesforce configurations, processes, and data
• Create and manage functional artifacts including:
  • Epics and detailed user stories
  • Functional documentation (Confluence)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and lead backlog refinement sessions
• Work closely with QA teams by:
  • Defining functional scenarios
  • Clarifying requirements
  • Reviewing test cases
• Support defect triage, resolution, and ensure alignment with business expectations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience with 5+ years as a Salesforce Functional Lead / Senior BA
• 3+ years of experience in the Banking / Financial Services domain
• Strong expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
• Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions in enterprise-scale, highly regulated environments
• Deep understanding of:
  • Banking workflows
  • Customer lifecycle & product lifecycle
  • Financial compliance and regulatory requirements
• Experience integrating Salesforce with:
  • Core banking systems
  • Data lakes and enterprise platforms
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Business Analyst, Financial Services Cloud)
• AI/ML certifications or exposure to AI-driven Salesforce capabilities (e.g., Einstein AI)
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including UX, Architecture, and Engineering
