Description

We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Marketing Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strategic, solutions-focused mindset.  This role is a critical part of Teneo’s Global Marketing team and is ideal for candidates that are highly organized, thrive in dynamic environments, move seamlessly between strategy and execution, and are energized by wearing multiple hats. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership to shape and execute marketing strategies that elevate Teneo in the market, drive client engagement, and position our firm as the partner of choice for CEOs and senior decision-makers.

In addition to supporting the firm’s global marketing priorities, you will play a key role in elevating and promoting Teneo’s Strategy & Communications (S&C) business.  As its Marketing Partner, you will work closely with S&C leadership to drive integrated marketing initiatives across communications, events, content, and business development. Teneo S&C advises CEOs and senior leaders on their most complex business and reputational challenges through integrated offerings spanning investor relations, corporate & financial communications, transactions & special situations, government & public affairs, crisis & litigation, governance & sustainability, digital, research, and creative services.

This position will help strengthen presence in key markets; showcase the breadth of senior subject matter expertise across core services and sectors; develop targeted approaches for senior leaders at marquee industry convenings; manage curated client experiences; and ensure the business is promoted consistently across channels and engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and manage best-in-class, cross-channel marketing initiatives that showcase Teneo’s differentiation, capabilities, thought leadership, client successes, and industry expertise.
  • Serve as a strategic and execution-oriented Marketing Partner to S&C senior leaders on marketing and communications initiatives that support its business growth, client engagement, and market positioning.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for leadership visibility across events and media, as well as processes for relevant industry awards and rankings.
  • Drive owned content strategy, creation, and distribution across multiple channels, including website, social media, email, video, and internal communications.
  • Support the planning and execution of client events, industry conferences, executive roundtables, webinars, sponsorships, and networking opportunities that enhance visibility and strengthen C-Suite relationships.
  • Manage content and experience on teneo.com, ensuring alignment with broader brand strategy and ensuring content remains current, impactful, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Own end-to-end project and campaign delivery, managing timelines, stakeholders, vendors, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Analyze campaign performance, marketing engagement metrics, and business development activity to inform future strategies.
  • Support integration and marketing efforts related to acquisitions, new hires, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems, email marketing platforms, content management systems, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Talent Acquisition, People Team, IT, Finance, and Operations, to support priority business initiatives.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior team members.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate has experience in global advisory/consulting services, strategic or corporate communications, financial communications, and/or legal services.
  • Expertise supporting multiple senior stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience inside global organizations, partnering with teams across regions and business units.
  • 10+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, business development, or related fields, ideally within a global advisory or consulting firm.
  • Proven experience executing events, campaigns, thought leadership programs, and content strategies for C-Suite leaders.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling content.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with CRM, CMS, email marketing, and marketing analytics platforms; HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as AI tools to responsibly enhance productivity.
  • Strong business judgment, attention to detail, executive presence, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Location: New York City, minimum 3-days in office requirement. Evening and weekend work, including travel, may periodically be required.
