Job Description

Neu-Life is currently seeking between 3 and 4 artists to lead creative workshop projects with our youth (K4-12) to help develop our Annual Art Show event. Our Annual Art Show event is a several month project developed to help showcase our youth’s creative and artistic passions and vision. Youth are given each year’s theme and a chance to develop their own interpretation of those ideas into artwork that is put on public display at a special location. This year’s theme is “Who Am I?”, an exploration of what it means to be an individual. We are asking our youth to consider questions of how they perceive themselves, how others perceive them, and the implications of those questions to the world around them and their place in it. The culmination of the event will be a gallery showing of the youth artwork, to be displayed at a gallery to be determined in the fall of 2026.

We are seeking artists to help develop and execute art projects with our youth during our summer program, running from 6/22-7/31, as well as some dates in September and October to be determined leading up to the gallery event.

Programs run 2 hours per week for elementary ages and 4 hours a week for middle and high school, usually split into 2 sessions per week. All mediums and styles will be considered. Each project should be budgeted (for materials and fees) for between $1500-$2000.

When writing your proposal, please indicate the following:

  • Youth age range (K4-5th grade-(elementary aged); (6th to 8th grades-middle school) or (grades 9th to 12th- high school)
  • Medium and workflow
  • Time table
  • Outcomes and deliverables
  • Supplies list

Please include with your submissions a short resume/CV as well as a portfolio showcasing your work.

Please include any prior experience working in artistic programming with youth work or educational settings.

Please send all submissions to: ***email_hidden***
