Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Overtime: 3–5 hours/week

Environment: Clean, climate‑controlled, well‑lit manufacturing facility

We’re hiring a Mechanical Assembler to help build industrial sweeping machines from the ground up. You’ll use hand tools, power tools, and detailed instructions to assemble key components across multiple workstations. If you enjoy hands‑on mechanical work and building complex equipment, this role is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Follow detailed work instructions to assemble industrial sweeping machines
• Use hand and power tools: screw guns, sockets, wrenches, etc.
• Work across four assembly stations, each requiring 4–5 hours of hands‑on building
• Install mechanical components: brakes, tires, engines, lift arms
• Assemble radiators, hoses, harnesses, and hydraulic sub‑assemblies
• Electrify the machine and install sheet metal and hoppers at final assembly

What You Bring

• Mechanical assembly or hydraulic assembly experience
• Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience in heavy assembly or mechanical repair (military, trade school, or manufacturing backgrounds welcome)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Engine repair experience
• Knowledge of nuts, bolts, sockets, and general mechanical hardware
• Previous work in manufacturing or equipment assembly

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampshire, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
