Job Description

Salary: $75,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements:

  • We require at least 3 years of experience in a comparable IT support or help desk role.
  • We are looking for proven Tier 2 technical capability, especially in client-facing support environments.
  • We need hands-on knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, and Microsoft Office.
  • We value experience deploying and supporting computers and network infrastructure such as desktops, switches, routers, and printers.
  • We prefer candidates with at least one relevant IT certification, such as MCSE/MCITP or CCNA.
  • We expect strong organizational ability and a sharp eye for detail.
  • We require excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • We look for experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • We need strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of staff and clients.
  • We require a valid Class 5 drivers license.
  • We require the ability to commute to or relocate to Grande Prairie before starting.
  • We prefer candidates who currently live in the Grande Prairie area.
  • We prefer applicants who bring a consultancy or professional services background.
  • We value a strong customer service mindset and a willingness to ask questions.
Responsibilities:
  • We provide telephone, remote, and on-site support to our clients.
  • We troubleshoot and resolve complex business and technical issues with a consultative approach.
  • We support a wide range of devices, including laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
  • We administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Online across multiple client environments.
  • We maintain and support desktop operating systems and common applications such as Microsoft Office and antivirus software.
  • We diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues related to network connectivity, printing, and internet access.
  • We install and configure server and network hardware, including switches, firewalls, access points, and servers as needed.
  • We use RMM tools to perform analytics and support issue resolution.
  • We manage our workload by prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • We communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
  • We work under pressure while consistently striving to exceed client expectations.
  • We align our work with our corporate principles and values.
