About Our Family

We're a warm, busy family of three living in a townhome in Brooklyn, with our 7-year-old and our adorable new 8-week-old puppy. Both parents work full-time with hybrid schedules, balancing time between the office and home. We want to make more time for each other and focus on the important moments, and we're looking for an extra set of hands to help keep our home running smoothly so we can focus on family time and enjoy the little moments together.

Our days are full, and we'd love support with the day-to-day tasks that help create a calm, organized home—things like errands, light pet care, tidying and organization, and helping everything stay on track in between visits from our bi-weekly cleaning service.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and kind—someone who enjoys creating order, takes initiative, and truly loves helping a family feel supported.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're warm, dependable, and naturally organized person- someone who takes pride in maintaining an inviting, well-run home. You enjoy staying ahead of household needs and thrive in home management, taking initiative with tasks like managing inventory, running errands, and keeping up with laundry. You understand how important it is to have an organized, stress-free environment and are happy to help with pet care, especially for our new puppy.

Most importantly, you understand the value of taking everyday responsibilities off a family's plate, allowing us to focus on what matters most—spending quality time together. If you're dependable, organized, and enjoy pitching in wherever needed, we think you'll be a wonderful addition to our family!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Household Organization & Maintenance
    • Create and maintain household organization systems
    • Perform daily resets to tidy the home for cleaners

    • Change batteries, light bulbs, and check smoke detectors as needed
    • Be aware of the family calendar (including household schedules)
  • Inventory & Errands
    • Organize and maintain pantry, fridge, and household supplies
    • Manage household orders and subscriptions (e.g., weekly flower service)
    • Dry cleaning pick-up and drop-off
    • Breakdown boxes
  • Laundry & Linen Care
    • Wash, fold, and organize laundry for all family members
    • Ironing, steaming, and special garment care
