Job Description

Location:  Event-based / On-site
Event Location:  McCormick Place | Chicago, Ill
Event Dates:  June 3-4
Schedule:  Full availability required for all event dates
Dress Code:  All Black Business Casual
Pay Rate: TBD:  Competitive hourly pay 

Fierce Staffing Services is seeking polished, adaptable, and experienced event professionals to support Salesforce Connections 2026 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

This is a high-visibility corporate conference environment with large attendance, multiple staffing agencies, shifting priorities, and a fast-paced operational cadence. Salesforce Connections serves as a major pre-Dreamforce event and is executed with a high level of scrutiny. Team members hired for this assignment must be able to think clearly, remain professional under pressure, and adapt quickly as event needs evolve in real time.

This is not a casual event staffing role. We are looking for strong professionals who can step into a dynamic environment, take direction, solve problems, and represent Fierce Staffing with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, guest-facing support in a high-volume conference environment
  • Greet attendees, answer questions, and support wayfinding throughout the venue
  • Assist with badge scanning, session check-in, and crowd flow management
  • Support sponsor activations, VIP areas, and premium attendee experiences
  • Follow direction from Fierce leadership and designated event supervisors
  • Remain flexible and ready to shift between assignments based on onsite needs
  • Communicate clearly and escalate questions or issues through the proper chain of command
  • Maintain professionalism, composure, and strong judgment in a fast-moving environment
  • Arrive on time, in proper attire, and ready to work in a highly visible client-facing setting

  • Previous event staffing, conference, hospitality, or guest services experience preferred

  • Able to work in crowded, high-energy event environments
  • Must be flexible and open to shifting responsibilities onsite
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and prepared to work in a high-expectation environment

Schedule & Availability

  • Virtual Training: Options May 6th and May 9th. 
  • Onsite Training: Will be Required. ( Date provided at onboarding)
  • Event Dates:  Wednesday Jun 3rd - Thursday June 4th
  • Shifts will be available once onboarding and training is complete. 
  • Open availability during these dates is strongly preferred.
  • Exact training times and shift schedules will be provided closer to the event.
Pay Rate : Competitive hourly rates based on role and responsibility level. Final pay rates and schedule details will be communicated during the hiring process.

Attire:

  • All-black business casual attire with comfortable closed-toe shoes.

  • Branded gear may be provided.
