• 36 hours guaranteed

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality, fast-paced patient care in a dynamic emergency setting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to respond effectively to life-threatening situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on severity
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
• Assist in trauma and critical care procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems

Required Experience & Skills:

• Travel experience required
• Experience working in Emergency Department settings
• MEDITECH experience required
• Strong critical care and emergency response skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-stress environments
• Strong leadership, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New York State (required)
• BLS, ACLS – Required
• PALS – Required (or must be obtained within 6 months)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Critical care and charge nurse experience
• Experience in high-acuity or trauma centers
