Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Lancaster, OH 43130

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 (Negotiable Based on Experience)

Our client is a well-established industrial services organization that partners with manufacturers and industrial facilities across North America. They are committed to maintaining safe, compliant operations while fostering a culture built on accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development.

They are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and help drive a proactive safety culture across multiple operations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Environmental Health & Safety programs across multiple locations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and field observations
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries while identifying root causes
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventative action plans
  • Deliver safety training for employees, supervisors, and new hires
  • Maintain safety documentation, compliance records, and reporting
  • Monitor safety metrics and present performance updates to leadership
  • Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety initiatives across the business
  • Supervise and mentor safety personnel while promoting accountability and continuous improvement


Qualifications

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred
  • OSHA 30 Certification required (General Industry or Construction)
  • First Aid/CPR Certification or ability to obtain within six months
  • 3+ years of Environmental Health & Safety experience
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
  • Experience conducting audits, investigations, and safety training
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel between multiple job sites
