Job Description

Salary: $75,000 - 115,000 per year Requirements:

  • We require an associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or a high school diploma plus at least two years of desktop support experience.
  • Healthcare IT support experience is preferred.
  • We look for proven ability to troubleshoot and support Windows desktop operating systems.
  • We value experience supporting Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web-based applications.
  • We prefer experience repairing and supporting desktop and laptop hardware, especially HP or Macintosh systems.
  • Experience with IT service management ticketing platforms such as Cherwell or ServiceNow is preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications are preferred.
  • We need strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • We expect the ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and close attention to detail are important.
  • We need someone who can work independently while following established processes and escalation procedures.
  • We require the ability to work effectively with non-technical users across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • We provide first-line, system-wide IT support for our end users.
  • We respond to Help Desk phone inquiries and electronic support requests.
  • We resolve Level I incidents in line with our Incident Management policies.
  • We escalate issues when they fall outside the scope of first-level support.
  • We assist with desktop-related project work.
  • We help maintain standardized hardware and workstation configurations across the organization.
  • We prioritize tasks independently while following defined escalation paths and service level agreements.
  • We maintain a strong focus on customer service, documentation, and compliance with healthcare IT standards.
