Job Description

A leading staffing agency is seeking a reliable Building Operations Technician for a Convention Center . In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and breaking down stages, risers, seating, and other event infrastructure. This is a hands-on position requiring physical labor, teamwork, and attention to detail to ensure smooth event setups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble stages, risers, seating, and other equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
• Ensure safety standards are met during setups and breakdowns.
• Collaborate with event coordinators and building operations staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  

Requirements

• Experience with event setup or similar hands-on work.
• Basic carpentry or construction skills are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
