JOB DESCRIPTION: Assistant Property Manager LCAM
REPORTS TO: Property Manager
We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of a residential community/association. This role assists the Property Manager in maintaining property standards, supporting residents and board members, coordinating vendors, and ensuring smooth community operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of the community
• Respond to homeowner inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services
• Assist with scheduling and preparing materials for board meetings
• Maintain association records and documentation
• Support enforcement of community rules and governing documents
• Assist with property inspections and follow up on maintenance items
• Coordinate communication between residents, vendors, and management
• Help manage work orders, service requests, and project follow-ups
• Perform administrative duties including emails, phone calls, and filing
Qualifications
• Previous property management, HOA, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with property management software (AppFolio or similar) is a plus
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
Preferred Qualifications
• HOA or condominium association management experience
• CAM license (or ability to obtain) preferred but not required
