At Movement Charter Schools, we believe a clean, safe, and welcoming environment supports learning, belonging, and community. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and pride-driven Custodian to help us maintain the spaces where our scholars and families show up every day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll help keep our school running smoothly by maintaining clean, welcoming spaces for everyone.
As a Custodian, you will:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, classrooms, hallways, and common areas daily
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain various floor surfaces throughout the building
Empty trash and recycling containers, ensuring proper disposal
Restock supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
Clean windows, mirrors, and fixtures to maintain a polished and professional appearance
Set up and break down rooms for meetings, events, and special activities as directed
Follow all safety guidelines and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
Secure doors and assigned areas according to school procedures at the end of each day
Assist with seasonal cleaning, deep cleaning, and other campus maintenance needs as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous custodial, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and manage time across assigned areas
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties throughout the school day
Successful completion of required background checks
